Implementation plans
Following the brief we had 3 weeks to develop a full show deck looking at stage design, technical management of the show, set up, power, guest management and digital asset development. Multiple on site visits with suppliers to arrange the build and layout of the site.
High-end touch points
The showcase video for the final awards submission, the outfits for the kids for the broadcast as well as the quality of the broadcast for the show.
Methodology (including Health and Safety)
TNA followed as usual the PMBOK project management methodology with the allocation of the project management team and key suppliers.
Given the nature of the event – full project planning was done on SharePoint for shared management. Development of the budget with the project plan building in risks and milestones e.g. back-up power supply management.
Given the community nature of the event, we accessed local suppliers for catering and décor, and where needed power supply.
All internal and client status meeting and site visits. External H&S contractors were bought into to manage the JOC applications, on site and event security, medic on site and full safety file planning.
The event documentation contained full deck of build, technical drawings, show planning and broadcast links, guest catering, crew and crew placement, deployment of security and staff, emergency planning, run of show, crew lists, load in schedules and strike plans.
The end result
A highly professional, community engagement that was expertly broadcast to multiple international sites, showcasing the school and the achievements that they had made in the SPARKS network.
